Crystal Cove Interpretive Association (CCIA) aids visitor enjoyment and understanding of Crystal Cove State Park. CCIA works closely with park staff to conserve, develop and interpret this rare coastal environment. The association supports several annual events including tide pool and backcountry walks, and whale watching. CCIA also publishes a quarterly newsletter, the Crystal Cove Interpretive Association.
Crystal Cove State Park covers 2,971 acres covering both coastal and canyon areas and supporting marine and terrestrial plants and animals. Through membership dues and sales, CCIA supports volunteer programs, buys equipment, and develops displays to interpret this beautiful area. In addition, CCIA provides publications for sale in the visitor center and maintains the park library, books, maps, pamphlets, and other educational resources. The Crystal Cove Interpretive Association has proven itself to be a valuable partner to the visitors and staff at Crystal Cove State Park. Join online! It's easy.

To aid the State of California in conserving and interpreting the units of the State Department of Parks and Recreation for the benefit of the public.
To sponsor, publish, purchase and distribute or sell appropriate maps and literature, illustrative materials, and other items which increase visitor understanding and appreciation of State Park system values and purposes.
To acquire materials, equipment and other items for use in the educational and interpretive programs of the parks.
To sponsor, support, and assist docent programs, environmental educational activities, resource management projects in support of such programs, seminars, and lectures and other activities that contribute to the educational and interpretive programs of the parks.
To plan, organize and implement fundraising programs to acquire contributions to support the interpretive and educational activities of the park.
To assist in establishment of similar cooperating associations in the State Department of Parks and Recreation.
