CRYSTAL COVE STATE
PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS
State Park Rules and
Regulations are intended to insure that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable
visit, while protecting precious park resources for current and future
generations.
- Dogs
are required to be held on a leash not exceeding six feet in length
and can be walked on paved areas only. Dogs are
not allowed on the beach or in the backcountry and cannot be left unattended
in a vehicle.
- No alcoholic
beverages are allowed in the park.
- No glass
containers on the beach.
- Climbing
on cliff faces is prohibited.
- No collection
of plants, seeds, or tidepool animals or shells. Fifty pounds of beach
driftwood may be collected per day.
- No open
fire pits on/in the sand or backcountry are allowed. Small
propane BBQ's are permitted. Charcoal and wood burning are strictly
prohibited.
- No launching
or landing of vessels is permitted. Kayaks are permitted in certain
areas; contact the park for more info.
- No smoking
in the El Moro backcountry.
- All visitors
must exit at sunset, except if you are dining at The Beachcomber in the Historic District which closes at 10:00 p.m.
